After sitting idly over at Google Sites for some time, I am now setting this site up here at Github Pages. I still think that Google's template-based site builder is OK but its ease of use comes with limitations. I have all sorts of things I wanted to try and Github Pages lets me do so for a number of them — without spending a dime.
